The Business Start-Up Center Bar has extended the deadline by 17 days for applying to a Public call for unemployed young people (15-29 years old) and women for support in starting their own business.

We remind you that on February 7, 2024, the Business Start-Up Center Bar published a Public Call for support for unemployed young people (15-29 years old) and women for support in starting their businesses.

Interested unemployed young people and women should fill out the application form at the bottom of the page and submit the necessary documentation no later than March 17, 2024.

BSC Bar announces a public call for young people and women for support in starting their own business as part of the project 'Skills for Sustainable Employment and inclusive Economic Growth of Cross-Border Region of Albania and Montenegro - Skills for Jobs Albania-Montenegro', contract number CFCU/MNE/ 219, which was financed within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Montenegro - Albania 2014-2020 within the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II) No.: EuropeAid/171769/ID/ACT/MULTI. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and the Investment Development Agency of Albania.

The target group is unemployed young people (15-29 years old) and women from the municipalities: Podgorica, Tuzi, Danilovgrad, Budva, Bar, Ulcinj and Cetinje, who lack practical knowledge and skills to become competitive on the labor market.

Support includes:

I Training on entrepreneurial skills for 15 participants,

II Mentoring support in the development of business plans for 15 participants, i

III Grant in the amount of 3000 euros per participant for starting their own business for the 5 best rated business plans.

 I The training will be conducted in the premises of the Business Start Center in Bar. It includes two-day trainings in the following areas:

a) Business-legal issues and business registration

b) Financial management and accounting

c) Strategic planning and business model

d) Marketing and sales

e) Digital/content marketing

II The purpose of mentoring support is for participants to develop quality business plans after the training and acquire the necessary knowledge to start their own business.

The mentors will be experts with a high-quality knowledge base, but also with proven entrepreneurial experience who will provide support to the participants for 20 hours during individual meetings.

III Grant includes non-refundable financial support in the amount of 3,000 euros per participant for starting a business, i.e. to cover the costs of business registration, purchase of necessary equipment and/or consulting services. Out of a total of 15 participants, the grant will be awarded to 5 participants whose business plans are best rated by an independent commission.

Training for registered participants will begin in March 2024, and participants will be informed about the exact start time of the training.

Preference will be given to candidates who have not previously been supported within the same project. Also, preference will be given to candidates who intend to establish a business in the following areas: tourism and catering, gastronomy, traditional crafts and information and communication technologies.

In addition to the completed application form, interested candidates are obliged to send to the email address s.jovanovic@bscbar.org or svovanovic@pkcg.org no later than February 29, 2024 the following documentation:

- proof of unemployment from the Employment Office of Montenegro. As proof of unemployment, you can attach a Certificate from the Tax Administration that the person is not registered in the Central Register of Tax Payers, Contribution Payers and Insured Persons of the Tax Administration of Montenegro, as a person registered for mandatory social insurance based on employment.
- copy of identity card or passport;
