CALL “FOR APPLICATIONS TO BE PART OF THE TRAININGS FOR THE NATIONAL TOURIST ROAD FOR YOUNG PEOPLE (15 – 29 YEARS OLD) AND WOMEN, UNEMPLOYED, IN THE AREAS OF THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SHKODËR, VAU I DEJËS AND MALËSI E MADHE”

The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA), within the framework of the implementation of the project “Skills for Sustainable Employment and Inclusive Economic Growth of the Cross-Border Region of Albania and Montenegro – Skills for Employment Albania – Montenegro”, announces the call for all young people aged 15-29, unemployed, and women who do not have the knowledge and practical skills to become competitive in the labor market in the field of tourism, to apply to be part of the trainings for national professional tourist guides in the Municipalities of Shkodër, Vau i Dejës and Malësi e Madhe.
A total of 5 (five) individuals will be part of this training. The training program will begin in February 2024 and will have a maximum duration of 4 (four) months. The place and date of the training will be determined in agreement with the entity that will offer the training program.
Individuals selected for training will benefit from the coverage of expenses related to the training, in the form of per diems for the entire training period.
At the end of the training, each trained individual will be provided with certificates from the entity that will offer this training.
After completing this course, candidates will gain skills to perform jobs such as: Tourist guide, administrator and manager of a tourist agency, tour organizer, etc.
Also, candidates who successfully complete the training and receive a certificate will be provided with a one-day visit to a city in the cross-border area with the aim of gaining knowledge about the experiences of their colleagues in Montenegro. Travel costs will be covered by the project.
List of documents to be submitted:
– Passport, ID card/birth certificate;
– Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the applicant, signed at the bottom of each page;
– Copy of the diploma of education obtained;
– Certificate of knowledge of at least one foreign language at level B2 or higher;
– Telephone number and email address;
– Address of residence;
– Certificate of unemployment (if the individual is registered with the employment office).
Priority in the selection of applicants will be given to those candidates who are unemployed and who have not been involved in the activities of the same project before. If all applicants meet all the required criteria, applications submitted at an earlier date will be selected.
