AIDA within the framework of the implementation of the project “Capacities for sustainable employment and inclusive economic growth in the cross-border region of Albania and Montenegro
The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) within the framework of the implementation of the project “Capacities for sustainable employment and inclusive economic growth in the cross-border region of Albania and Montenegro” financed by the European Union project “Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Albania 2014-2020, through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II), participated in the Business Fair that took place on 23 October 2024, in Budva, Montenegro.
The Montenegrin partners of the project, the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (CEM), as well as the Business Start-Up Center Bar (BSC Bar), took care of the organization of this fair. The aim of this activity was to promote priority sectors in the Albania-Montenegro cross-border area, as well as to create opportunities for cooperation between them. AIDA, as the implementing partner of the project, participated with a delegation of 5 companies that were physically present, as well as 7 businesses that participated online. The companies that participated in the fair belonged to the handicraft, tourism and agro-tourism sectors, which operate in the Municipalities of Shkodër, Vau i Dejës and Malësi e Madhe.
During the fair, the participating companies presented and promoted their products, as well as organized B2B meetings with the companies present from Montenegro. The participating companies also became part of the annual conference organized by the Economic Chamber of Montenegro, where digitalization and the development of e-commerce in the Western Balkans region were discussed
